Eligibility Criteria For CA Intermediate Course

• CA Foundation Course – Aspirants who have cleared their CA Foundation with a minimum 50% Score in an exam conducted by ICAI.
• Through Direct Entry – The following Aspirants are allowed to register for CA Intermediate Course directly:

(A) – Commerce Graduate or Post Graduate (scored minimum 55% Marks) or Other Graduate/ Post Graduate (Scored minimum 60% Marks)

(B) – An aspirant who has cleared CA Intermediate level examination conducted by ICSI or ICAI.

1. Firstly, Go to the official website of ICAI and login there on the Self Service Portal.
2. Secondly, look out for a button that says “register for Intermediate through CA Foundation/Direct entry” click on that button.
3. Then, upload your required details on this page.
4. Lastly, Submit the CA Intermediate registration fees through online methods such as – UPI, Net banking, Debit card or Credit card.
5. Therefore, once your payment is successful, you’ll get the confirmation page which you have to take the print off for future references.

Note: Usually, ICAI processes the application form within seven days. Once it has been processed, you will receive a notification on your registered mobile number.

Documents Required for CA Intermediate Registration

1. Through Foundation Way: Students have to submit a copy of their attested mark sheet of 12th class or its similar Central Govt recognized examination passing marks statement. 
2. By Direct-Entry Way: For this way, Students have to submit the attested copy of their graduation or post-graduation mark sheet or statement of marks of Intermediate level exam of ICAI or ICWAI.  
3. Latest coloured photographs.
4. Certified copy of Nationality proof for international students.
5. Attested copy of special category certification, i.e. SC/ST/OBC or Differently abled.

While preparing for the CA Intermediate Exams, You have to dedicate yourself to the preparations & have to follow the proper study routine. CA Intermediate syllabus consists of 8 papers, And divided into four papers.

ICITSS Training

There is an ICITSS program available at the intermediate level offered by the ICAI. And, there are two sessions during the four-week course.

In First session

The first session includes learning technical tools used in the accountancy profession. Six hours are scheduled each day for fifteen days. At the end of the course, you must pass the module test and submit your project report. And, the training registration fee is 6,500 Rs.

In Second session

The second session is for 6 hours for 15 days, with grooming classes for the students. Also, this session helps build confidence in a person and enhance your communication skills, which will help you in the industry. 

Students from the CA Foundation route can clear one group or both groups & can start ICITSS training.

Direct entry method students can start their four-week ICITSS training after filling out their CA Intermediate Registration form for the CA Intermediate course. Students are not required to clear any group exam to begin their practical training period.

The provisional scheme allows applicants who have applied for ICITSS training to do it in their six-month provisional period.

CA Intermediate Registration Validity

CA Intermediate Registration validity is valid for four years from the issue date. However, If a person wants it to be revalidated, they have to pay 400 Rs as a revalidation fee after the expiry.

CA Intermediate Result

ICAI releases the CA Intermediate & CA IPCC result after the two months of exams. The inter/IPCC Dec 2021 result is declared in February 2022.

Additionally, If a CA aspirant scores a minimum of 40% marks in each subject and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate across all subjects, a CA aspirant is declared pass in the CA Intermediate Course.
