Best Trek Destinations For Trekking Lovers

Meta Description: Trekking is all about living your days close to nature and hearing your heartbeats in your ear. Find out the best trek destinations for trekking lovers right here.

Introduction

There are many popular hiking trails all around the world.

Once you find out how the most beautiful terrains hide so many historical and mythical details, you crave to experience the thrill of trekking there.

You may download adventure movies and games from the pirate bay and learn all about trekking there, but until and unless you experience it practically, it won’t be much useful to you.

So, find out the best trekking destinations here:

1: Everest Base Camp, Nepal

This is a 65-kilometer trek, and you have to go up and down along the route to reach the base camp of the highest peak in the world.

This one-way trail takes almost 12-14 days, which is probably the longest trek on this list.

Most of the walking part gets over between 3500-4500 meters, and you’ll drain out your energy by the time you are done with the walking part.

If you think that you’ll see the peak of Mount Everest from the base camp, you’re in for a big disappointment. But, you’ll come across many other mountain peaks that will adorn your journey.

2: Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

It is one of the most popular tourist sites in all of Africa, and when you reach the top of this peak, you’ll know what we are talking about.

More than 30,000 people visit this place every year.

If the route is good, you can complete the trek within a few days, but if the route is obstructed by some natural calamities, it may be tough for you to navigate your route.

Most hikers try to summit this trek at sunrise, and that gives them a chance to witness the most spectacular view from the top.

You better start on your fitness regime right now if you plan to make this trick ALIVE!

3: Inca Trail, Peru

When you come down through the Inca trail into Machu Picchu at sunrise, it will probably be one of the most memorable trekking experiences of your life.

It’s a 26 miles long trek that takes you to over two 13,000-foot passes.

The trail follows the path that the Incas used to take 650 years ago, so as you explore this unknown realm, you will come across many tunnels, waterfalls, and the ancient ruin of Winay Wayna.

This is one of the hardest hikes in the world, which takes up to 4 days with changeable weather.

So get your hiking gear in place before you set off.

4: Samaria Gorge, Greece

Trekking lovers often fall in love with this place and get awestruck at the natural wonders on the island of Crete.

This one-way hike descends through a narrow valley that ends at the Libyan Sea.

The hike is comparatively easy because it is only 16 kilometers long.

However, the first half of this hike is the toughest because it has the steepest point, where you’ll go down a series of switchbacks for an hour before reaching the stream responsible for this gorgeous scenery.

5: West Coast Trail, Canada

Trekking doesn’t always have to be along the mountain. There are many maritime hikes in the world, and the West Coast Trail in Canada is one of the best.

It is 75 kilometers long and takes about 6-8 days to complete.

This is a true wilderness experience where you get to enjoy the beauty of dense rain forests and the deep blue ocean together.

However, if you think this is going to be an adventure hike, you’re wrong. You’ll take as much stamina as any other trek, perhaps more.

If you want to complete it within 3-4 days, you must start your tour at the Nitinaht Village. Don’t worry. It will still give you the complete experience of a West Coast Trail.

Are You Ready?

Trekking is tough, and we bet you know it.

However, it can be equally beautiful too if you just choose the right destination with the right partners and the right trekking gear.

Once you complete this list, we’re sure you’ll be pumped enough to check your travel itinerary and book a trek for one of these places in the next few months.

We understand your excitement. In fact, the first time we heard of something like this, we also set off on the journey in a few days.

So, we are not going to judge you if you plan your trek right now because that’s how trekking lovers should behave. But, if you need further details on these places, ping us below.
